The final week

Sad, but true.
All good things must come to an end- it is fitting that this is the last blog before I head to the Airport. I will recap the last couple of days as best as I can, and compose a proper blog on the plane (as we have 24hours to do so) for proper reading- this is for viewing pleasure!
Em on my lap on our way to watch Trinity play soccer.

Sunset from my mum's patio
Hilary and Trinity created an obstacle course in the driveway and this was the start of it- clever girls!!
Em was scared by some recent thunder activity and hid in the corner cupboard
Robbie and Trinity
As Scott has never had snow, and has never made a snowman, Trinity made a snowman for him and put it in the freezer for 5 months for when Uncle Scott came. She had to dig down to get him!!

Em in bed with Aunt Jen

Out to tea on Brian's last night.... The Keg Steakhouse- worthwhile! yum-yum! Thanks Brian!

Mum had the 2lb lobster- yum!

At the cabin for the last weekend- of course you all know that my mum had children for the cheap labour.... well, it apparently counts when you are an adult also! (Including the kids you inherit through marriage!)

Scott and Dad finished the dock which Uncle Wayne and dad began
When we arrived we found the Aussie flag flying True Blue
Walking to Aunt Ruth's for some fish and brewis and good company
On Aunt Ruth's wharf- Scott set the timer and came running which made me laugh
That did not make me laugh as much as Kelly did when she cried and cried for 10 minutes trying to pick up this rock and then walk the 50m to drop it at our feet on the wharf..... no wonder her tooth is broken!
Emmie and Kelly play and play and play at the cabin.....
Can you find Kelly's stick???
Scott finally put his camera down and his feet up- he is reading a book about the 9/11 passengers diverted to Gander
All in all, the cabin is not a bad place to spend some time
Uncle Scotty and Trinity killed some time back in CBS whilst Aunt Jen slept blissfully

It is not only at the cabin where Em and Kelly play and play- they are watching the birds pretty intently, running from the patio doors back to the window to chase them..

And to end the trip and the blog- with another of my mum's sunsets from her house on Blackstrap.... what a wonderful month!
Time to go to the airport now once and for all!
talk to you on the other side
